Open House and Workday!

When: Saturday, August 8th, Noon-4pm

What: Come check out the garden!
There will be snacks, and a hands-on cooking session using herbs and vegetables from the garden.
If you like, help plant the fall harvest.

Where: 225 Berry Street
behind the Salvation Army Chapel, across the field from Shade Tree Clinic

City-wide community garden tour on Saturday June 13, 9am to 12pm!

Hosted by Food Security Partners of Middle Tennessee and its partner gardens, including the McFerrin Park Community Garden (listed as ‘VEGI Garden’).

You are invited to visit the gardens and hear from gardeners about the impact of community gardens in Nashville. The tour is free, and participants may tour one or more garden sites– just drop in any time between 9am and 12pm.

GROUNDBREAKING DAY!

The Vanderbilt Educational Garden Initiative (VEGI) invites you to join us for an afternoon of fun and community service at the McFerrin Park Community Garden, right across from the Shade Tree Clinic.

When: Saturday, May 2nd, 1-5pm
